Frequency detection: 8 kHz / 33 kHz. Digital underground cable locator with four operating modes: automatic, power detection, radio detection and signal generator detection. Includes hazard zone warning via alarm and depth indication of services. Compatible with current Digitex and its accessories. Includes batteries, Quick Start guide and CD-ROM. (50 kHz).
Use DD100 series cable locators together with a DA220 or DA230 signal transmitter and/or Digisystem accessories to achieve greater accuracy and extended application range.
Leica Detection: simplicity and efficiency
- Ease of use – The locator requires minimal setup to detect services. The removal of sensitivity control ensures that detectable services are not missed if sensitivity is set too low.
- Integrated self-test – Staff or users can easily perform a quick check to ensure the unit is working correctly. This is particularly useful when renting equipment or handing it over to new users.
- Signal Strength Indicator (SSI) – Provides a numerical signal strength reading, specifically designed to help identify cables.
- Hazard zone – Alerts the user to shallow services located less than 30 cm from the locator. This allows users to adjust excavation methods and avoid cable strikes.
