Introducing the Leica GS18 I, a versatile survey-grade RTK GNSS rover with Visual Positioning. The sensor fusion of GNSS, IMU, and camera works together to create visual positioning technology, resulting in a GNSS RTK rover so powerful that it allows you to measure what you see. The GS18 I has all the features of the Leica GS18 T: for example, in addition to visual positioning, users can measure points with a tilted or levelled pole.

Leica Captivate field software is the perfect companion for the GS18 I. With user-friendly apps, all measured and design data can be viewed and used, giving you a clear understanding of the data in 2D and 3D views. Captivate spans industries and applications with little more than a simple touch, regardless of whether you are working with GNSS, total stations, or both.

Use Captivate to capture and process data in the field, or Infinity to measure points back in the office, working comfortably on a larger screen away from weather or traffic hassles. Infinity surveying software is designed to manage, analyse, and quality control all survey data from the field, including GNSS sensors, total stations, digital levels, and UAV images.

Tilt Compensation

Based on the sensor fusion of IMU and GNSS, the GS18 I’s tilt compensation is immune to magnetic disturbances and works immediately without the need for calibration. With the GS18 I, surveyors have the flexibility to measure points with a levelled pole while still saving tilt values for each measurement. This ensures confidence that what has been measured is correct.

Internal Memory

Users with any GS18 model have the flexibility to log raw data onto an SD card or into the internal memory.

4G LTE and Excellent Measurement Quality

Multi-frequency signal tracking comes as standard with all Leica Geosystems GS receivers. Combined with an excellent GNSS antenna and a 20 Hz position update rate, the GS18 I ensures highly reliable measurement quality.
