The 190CXPRO4 is a compact, lightweight and rigid tripod with four-section carbon fibre legs, advanced features and excellent build quality. It is designed and manufactured in Italy by Manfrotto.

The key feature of the 190CXPRO4 is its 90° centre column mechanism, which allows the column to be extended vertically in the conventional way or positioned horizontally. This opens up a wide range of framing and shooting possibilities, making the 190CXPRO4 an extremely versatile tripod suitable for a broad variety of photography and video applications. The mechanism used to position the column horizontally is housed inside the tripod’s upper structure for a more compact design and can be extended quickly and easily whenever required. Switching the column from vertical to horizontal does not require any components to be removed and can even be carried out with the camera mounted.

The four-section legs of the 190CXPRO4 provide a remarkably compact folded size. Combined with the space-saving horizontal column mechanism, the four-section legs reduce the folded length of the tripod by 16 cm compared with previous 190 models, an advantage particularly appreciated by travelling photographers. The legs can also be extended very quickly thanks to the Quick Power Lock section-locking lever system. The special design of the QPL levers provides more comfortable and secure locking and unlocking of the leg sections, even with one hand and in a single movement.

The QPL system also provides a stronger lock on each section, making the tripod more stable and rigid than traditional designs. The leg-angle selectors are intuitive and ergonomic, allowing each leg to be adjusted independently and securely to any of the preset angles, providing considerable positioning freedom. A spirit level is also integrated into the top of the centre column for more precise framing. The level rotates freely around the centre column, allowing it to be positioned where it is easiest to see while adjusting the tripod, without being obscured by the head or camera.

The upper structure of the 190CXPRO4 includes an Easy Link connector for easily attaching photography or video accessories, such as an LED light, flash, reflector or other equipment, mounted on an extension arm or bracket. This transforms the tripod into a practical mobile studio.
