MessReg CTS II: continuous track geometry measurement

Efficiently recording sections of track requires equipment that combines precision, speed and ease of use. The MessReg CTS II continuous track measurement system from Vogel & Plötscher records all relevant track parameters (distance travelled, track gauge, cant and twist) at 100 mm intervals and in real time, displaying the results numerically and graphically on the screen. The comment function allows any track irregularities to be recorded at their exact position, making it easier to subsequently locate the points requiring intervention.

MPad outdoor tablet and CTSline software

The MessReg CTS II is supplied as standard with the powerful MPad outdoor tablet and, alternatively, can be equipped with the MPC outdoor laptop. Both options feature an up-to-date operating system and a low-reflection 10-inch touchscreen designed to provide optimum readability alongside the track. Measurement data is displayed in real time on the measuring computer using the CTSline software and can be exported as an XLS or CSV file for further processing.

Professional reports with CDMviewer

The optional CDMviewer analysis software allows all measurement values to be processed conveniently and professionally and generates a measurement report in PDF format, ready for documentation and delivery to infrastructure managers or end customers.

Foldable, lightweight and operated by one person

With an approximate weight of 19 kg and a practical folding mechanism, the MessReg CTS II can be assembled and operated by one person without difficulty. The measuring system is insulated and is available for different track gauges, allowing it to be used on Iberian, standard-gauge or metre-gauge railway networks. Its functions can be expanded with various equipment options, including a transport support for the manual measurement of switches or rollers for passing over railway crossings.
