MessReg PTP II
The MessReg PTP II from Vogel & Plötscher is an established standard for the digital inspection of railway switches and turnouts. Each measuring point is recorded individually, and any value outside the permitted tolerances is immediately highlighted in colour, enabling on-site analysis and more efficient maintenance.
Integrated Windows tablet and comprehensive connectivity
The system features a powerful Windows-based tablet with a 7-inch touchscreen, ensuring optimum readability and intuitive operation without changing the familiar measuring principle or workflow. Bluetooth, WLAN, GSM and an integrated camera improve the efficiency of fieldwork and the documentation of each inspection.
MessProfi software and compatibility with customer systems
With the in-house developed MessProfi software for managing and analysing measurement data, as well as compatibility with Deutsche Bahn’s IIS system, the MessReg PTP II covers a wide range of applications. The system can also be adapted to exchange data with customer-specific XML-based software, facilitating its integration into the workflows of infrastructure managers and railway contractors.
Ergonomics and extensions for track work
The mobile WeichenCaddy support enables even more ergonomic and efficient data collection, while the extended measuring bases of 1,100 and 1,800 mm make it possible to measure the check gauge in the unguided areas of crossing noses. The gauge, manufactured from glass fibre, is fully insulated, and the system is available for different track gauges, an important feature for networks using Iberian, standard or metre gauge.
