Autonomous flight mode
The Aibotix multirotor system can navigate automatically through waypoints in autonomous mode. The flight route is programmed using our flight planning software, AiProFlight, and transmitted wirelessly to the Aibot. With the help of several types of pre-programmed routes, the Aibot X6 can carry out different types of inspections and mapping missions autonomously. Everything can be planned on your PC, laptop or tablet PC through a very intuitive user interface.
Route design
To create a flight plan, simply click on the map to set a series of waypoints along the route. Parameters such as altitude, camera orientation and the button you want to press to take photos with the camera must then be configured. Routes can be stored as projects for easy access, so you do not need to recreate the route for a second flight over the same target.
Camera database
AiProFlight has a camera database from which your camera can be easily selected. All relevant parameters are automatically transferred to AiProFlight. These updated parameters ensure optimum-quality georeferenced photos, making the most of the optical sensor’s best features.
Point of interest
This feature allows you to fly around an object by defining a radius. The camera will always point towards the object during the flight. The so-called point of interest (POI) flight can be used, for example, to inspect a radio antenna or any other structure from a 360-degree perspective.
Extensive functions
Versatility is an inherent feature of AiProFlight software. The flight planning software offers many options to meet almost any requirement. Georeferenced photos can be further processed and enhanced after the flight to create maps or 3D models, or even to locate faulty solar modules after an inspection of a solar park. The possibilities and applications are many, and the system is flexible enough to adapt to you and provide specific solutions for your current needs.
