The Vogel & Plötscher RCAD track gauge is a digital measuring device designed to check track gauge, cant and the main parameters in railway turnouts quickly, accurately and safely.
Its simple operation and digital reading allow reliable measurements to be carried out directly in the field, reducing errors and speeding up inspection and maintenance work. Values are shown on a central illuminated display, easy to read even in low-visibility conditions.

RCAD track gauge – BT 1668 mm | Vogel & Plötscher
This gauge is the version of the RCAD system adapted to 1668 mm Iberian-gauge tracks. It is designed for precise digital measurements on railway lines, turnouts and maintenance areas where track gauge, cant and other critical railway geometry parameters need to be checked.
Like the 1435 mm model, this version retains the advantages of the RCAD system: digital reading, illuminated display, simple operation and the possibility of expansion with accessories.
The Bluetooth option makes it easier to record and transfer measurement data. Values can be saved, sent to prepared tables or analysed with the optional MessApp, a Windows application that allows measurements to be documented and possible deviations from the established tolerances to be detected.
