    Wireless triaxial vibration sensor

The wireless vibrometer measures the vibration velocity at the point where it is installed, providing a complete analysis of vibration frequency and amplitude. It enables real-time and remote vibration analysis, making it possible to determine whether the vibrations and stresses caused by construction work near the monitored structure exceed the limits established by current regulations. All sensors also record temperature, are battery-powered and use the LoRaWAN wireless communication protocol.

Determine whether the vibrations and stresses caused by construction work near the monitored structure exceed the limits established by current regulations. All sensors also record temperature, are battery-powered and use the LoRaWAN wireless communication protocol.

The vibrometer acquires triaxial velocity data (mm/s or inches/s) through the continuous integration of the built-in accelerometer output at a high sampling frequency. The sensor has two main, mutually exclusive operating modes:

    • Scheduled acquisition mode
    • Threshold-triggered acquisition mode
    • The wireless vibration sensors transmit accurate readings from the site via LoRaWAN. Data can be viewed and managed online through the Move Cloud platform.

    Key parameters:

    • Wireless triaxial vibration sensor
    • Acquisition of velocity, frequency and temperature
    • Standards: DIN 4150 and UNI 9916
    • Local storage for up to 2,000 acquisitions. Each acquisition consists of 1,024 data points. All acquisitions can also be retrieved via a USB connection to a PC.
    • Absolute synchronisation: ±1 second
    • Acquisition: scheduled mode
    • Resolution: 0.0015 mm/s
    • Range: ±50 mm/s
    • Integrated temperature sensor
    • Extremely simple installation with versatile mounting options
    • Ultra-low noise performance
    • Integrated long-life battery
    • IP67 protection rating

    Main applications of the vibrometer

    Building monitoring

    Vertical structure monitoring

Perform vibration analysis on buildings or vertical structures undergoing maintenance or located near construction work.

    Construction monitoring

    Construction site monitoring

Monitor intense vibrations generated by construction activities and determine whether they exceed the permitted limits.

    Bridge monitoring

    Bridge monitoring

Perform vibration analysis on bridges or viaducts undergoing maintenance or located near construction work, and check whether the resulting stresses exceed the applicable limits.

Easy installation of the Move wireless monitoring system

Installing a complete wireless sensor system on site is quick and easy: simply secure each device to the structure to be monitored using at least two screws and power the LoRaWAN gateway. The entire system can be configured remotely before, during or after installation using a laptop or tablet. Once the system has been installed and configured, the Move wireless monitoring system will begin taking measurements, allowing remote monitoring to start immediately.

How the Move wireless monitoring system works

The wireless sensor system automatically transmits measurement data via LoRaWAN to the on-site gateway, which then sends the received data via 4G or LTE to the online servers. The Move Cloud Platform is a cloud-based web tool that allows users to access, view and export measurement data and configure the settings of the entire sensor system. The Move Cloud Platform can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere in the world and from any device. One of its main advantages is that it provides remote access to measurement data and enables the remote configuration of all installed sensors, saving both time and labour. Measurement data can also be analysed using the processing algorithms included in the service. Complex calculations, correlations and analyses can be performed automatically and effortlessly. Measurement data can be exported in CSV format at the touch of a button. Alerts can also be configured for multiple recipients, who will receive threshold-exceedance notifications by email.

    • Easily install the entire system on the structure without any wiring.
    • Configure all wireless sensors quickly and remotely.
    • View measurement data in real time, wherever you are and from any device, 24 hours a day.
    • Process the collected data using the implemented algorithms.
    • Continuously monitor the operating status and signal quality of the system remotely.
    • Customise alarm notifications and receive threshold-exceedance alerts by email.
    • Optionally integrate the data into your own platform through an MQTT bridge, FTP or API calls.
