Leica DISTO™ X1: the rugged laser distance meter for indoor construction sites

The Leica DISTO™ X1 is the laser distance meter specifically designed for indoor construction sites in demanding conditions: dust, humidity, knocks and drops. Its rubber housing and fibreglass-reinforced plastic body withstand drop tests from a height of 2 metres and achieve an IP65 rating, allowing it to be cleaned under running water without being affected.

Unlike the D series models, which are designed for indoor use with advanced floor plan and calculation functions, the X1 prioritises durability and simplicity: distance, area and volume with the reliability of Leica Geosystems, without delicate elements that could fail on site. It is the option for professionals who need a pocket-sized device that can withstand daily use without compromising on accuracy.

Designed to withstand construction site conditions

The housing combines impact-absorbing rubber with a fibreglass-reinforced plastic core that protects the optical and electronic components. The IP65 rating guarantees full dust-tight protection and resistance to water jets from any direction: you can use it in environments with plaster, cement or cutting dust without risk, and clean it directly under the tap at the end of the working day.

NFC and Bluetooth connectivity

NFC technology allows measurements to be sent to a smartphone simply by bringing the device close to it, with no prior pairing. Integrated Bluetooth offers an alternative option for continuous workflows with the DISTO Plan app, where you can document measurements on photos, draw simple plans and export in PDF, JPG or DXF.

You measure outdoors or over long distances → DISTO™ X4 or Leica DISTO™ X6 with digital pointfinder camera.
