RLM track gauge for measuring gauge, cant and turnouts

The RLM track gauge enables values such as track gauge, cant, check gauge, check rail gauge and flangeway width to be checked quickly and consistently, making it an essential tool for periodic inspections and quality control in railway construction.

It is available for a wide range of track gauges, from 762 mm to 1,676 mm, allowing it to be adapted to different track types and standards. Its robust design and construction for intensive use ensure stability, durability and precision, even under demanding working conditions.

FIX option – Absolute track positioning

The RLM track gauge can be equipped with the FIX option, which transforms the system into an absolute positioning surveying gauge. With this configuration, the RLM track gauge can be used together with a total station and prism, enabling the absolute position of the track to be determined within a coordinate system.

This feature is particularly useful for projects involving:

    • Advanced geometric control

    • Railway setting-out

    • Deformation monitoring

    • Integration with surveying and BIM data

The FIX option significantly expands the capabilities of the gauge, integrating it into professional surveying workflows.
